Thursday , 1 May 25.

Where should I go to vote?

The polling station for Histon & Impington voters is at the Batist Church on Station Road close to the Cenotaph.

For Orchard Park voters it’s at the Community Centre on Central Avenue and for those in King’s Meadow it’s in the Community Centre on Arbury Road

Who’s eligible to vote?

You must be aged 16 or over to register.

You can register to vote if you’re a British citizen or an Irish citizen.

You can also register if you have permission to enter or stay in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man – or you do not need permission – and you’re a:

  • Commonwealth citizen
  • citizen of Denmark, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal or Spain
  • citizen of another EU country, if you have had permission to enter or stay – or not needed permission – since 31 December 2020, and this has continued without a break

How do I register to vote?

It’s easy to register online. Just go to www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.

How do I get a postal (or proxy) vote?

It’s easy to register for postal or proxy votes. For postal votes got to www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote. Note that you must do this before 1700 hrs 11 working days before the election.

For a proxy vote go to www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote. Note that you must do this before 1700 hrs 5 working days before the election.
