When the Park School opened a question mark hung over the future of the old infants school site. Ros made it clear to the council how important this building was to the community and worked with Cambridgeshire Music to locate their Music hub here.
The Music Hub has gone from strength to strength in Histon. The site offers music lessons, spaces for musical groups and orchestras to rehearse and perform as well as rehearsal and performance spaces for other cultural groups and activities. There are open mic nights and therapy sessions and spaces can be hired out to groups including Histon & Impington Green spaces. There is space for instrument storage and repairs and the old school hall is a real asset to the hub. After school and holiday clubs are also located here.
